Repeat Patterns was created when the artist’s littlest was very little and time and space to make art was also very little. These were naptime paintings of wallpaper in rooms where he fell asleep, strange markings on the sidewalk they passed while he was pushed in the stroller on daily walks,  shadows she noticed on the wall while nursing, songs and phrases the not so littlest children often repeated during the blur of many dinners and bedtime routines….It took the artist nearly a year to complete and another to get scanned and submitted to the @thesketchbookproject! It is a reminder that there is pleasure and fascination in the mundane day to day existence.
